Christine Speerin (AUS)

Christine has been an International Grooming Judge since 2007 and has judged and held many International Seminars in the USA , Europe , Asia , Australia & New Zealand. Christine has developed a wide network of friendships within the global grooming community and is an International grooming contest judge for Barkleigh USA, EGA ( European Groomers Assn ) Europe & IGU (International Groomers Union) Asia. She was a member of the first Australian Groom Team which travelled to Germany in 2009 and is the current team manager. A multi award winning groomer with her work featured on prime time television segments including Sydney Weekender, Talk to the Animals, Bondi Vet, Sunrise and the TODAY show, Christine's work has also appeared in numerous industry articles and main stream print and online media magazines including the Australian Womens Weekly. Christine runs a successful groomer training centre in Australia, The Grooming School, which she co-founded with her husband Les in 2003. Christine is also involved in developing equipment for the industry and is a Grooming Ambassador for Purina and Andis products . Christine is a mentor to many local and International groomers and is a passionate family person.

Teri Di Marino (USA)

Teri is a forty year veteran of the pet styling industry. She previously owned and operated a large and successful South Florida salon and a mobile grooming operation after her move to Southern California. As a winning grooming contest competitor Teri was a member of the ’88, ’89 and ’93 GroomTeam USA Gold Medal winning teams and served as GroomTeam USA team coordinator for the ’90 and ’91 teams as well as GroomTeam USA Treasurer for nine years. She is a multiple Cardinal Crystal Grooming Achievement Award nominee and winner. Teri recently won the Barkleigh Honors Award for Journalist of the Year for 2011. Teri is a popular speaker, judge at seminars and trade shows across the United States, Canada, Europe, South America and Korea, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

 

Teri has written regular columns and feature articles for the industry’s major publications and now calls Barkleigh Productions home, having taken on the position of Industry Consultant along with writing the business column and feature articles in Groomer To Groomer magazine. She has also contributed to the Animal Planet reality show, Groomer Has It, acting as the shows Professional Consultant.

 

Teri regularly judges and lectures at trade shows and consults with pet styling businesses, specializing in teaching no-nonsense everyday grooming and bathing techniques, salon set-up, business logic and time management efficiency. Teri now resides in Southern California and still enjoys keeping her “hands in hair.”

Wendy Wouters (AUS)

Susan Bailey (AUS)

 

 

 

 

 

International Certified Master Groomer, Susan is a devoted mother of two girls and an extremely avid groomer with 15 years experience. Susan’s enthusiasm and ability to learn quickly has escalated to the conformation ring with regular success in her specialised Poodle field winning several BIS awards with “ Kendra “ & “ Paxton”. Susan juggles her time between her family , home based business and the poodle & bichon clan. Married to husband Gary they equally share the breeding duties of Bichon Frise. Susan’s first grooming competition win was in Melbourne in 2007 against a huge field of Australia’s best Poodle stylists. This result earned her enough points to become a member of the 2011 Purina Groom Team Australia and competed in the World teams event in Belgium.Susan is proud to represent Australia in grooming and her belief is to groom every dog the best that you can

Sue Wright (AUS)

Sue Wright is a Diploma certified and award winning Pet Stylist, IJA Judge and Australian Model Dog Team Leader. She was born in the U.K. and currently lives in Queensland Australia. She enjoys competing at a national level and has gone on to win numerous awards for her grooming but her biggest passion to date is Asian influenced pet styling and Model Dogs, satisfying both her creative desire and her passion for dogs.
Sue’s work has been recognised and published in books and magazines world wide, including ‘The complete Guide to Asian Styling’  ‘Modern Styles around the world’ ‘Toilettage Magazine’ and the prestigious Japanese magazine ‘Trim’. After selling her busy Salon on the Sunshine Coast, she now enjoys pampering pets from her state of the art, home based grooming salon in Queensland here she also enjoys teaching, presenting & hosting seminars for professional groomers.
